The Founder: Julianna Steidley
Founded by Julianna Steidley — daughter of Chris White Eagle and third-generation leadership at Wambli Ska Community Development Society — Pretty Pink Buffalo is more than a skincare line. It is a living expression of healing, cultural identity, and unapologetic self-love, rooted in Lakota tradition and made right here in Rapid City.Julianna’s journey didn’t start in ceremony — it found her when she needed it most. Growing up, tradition wasn’t always front and center. But in her teens, faced with pain, questions, and the need for something real, Julianna turned to her roots. What she found in Lakota culture wasn’t just healing — it was power.
Now, she channels that strength into every Pretty Pink Buffalo product. Pretty Pink Buffalo is for anyone — women, men, and two-spirit relatives — who are walking their own journey of healing, identity, and unapologetic self-love.
